Annual Function the Awarding Programn 2024

The 'Hybrid Ramanujan Award' is a significant award introduced this year as part of the awards presented during the Prasphuran annual festival. This award has been established with the purpose of integrating mathematics into life and promoting interest in the subject. The story behind the creation of the Hybrid Ramanujan Award is quite interesting. While Hybrid has been encouraging children in various fields, there was no formal initiative for mathematics. It was during this time that a former student of the school, Divyanshu Gupta (currently studying at IIT Patna), proved on several occasions by the time he reached eighth grade that he possessed the qualities of a mathematician. He was a somewhat shy and reserved student who, due to his nature, often could not actively participate in the school’s cultural events. When a few more students like him were noticed, the school realized that such students also needed a proper platform and encouragement.

Finally, in 2024, the recipients of the Hybrid Ramanujan Award were Varsha Saraswat, daughter of Mrs. Chahna Saraswat and Mr. Rajneesh Kumar Saraswat, and Rishabh Rautela, son of Mrs. Meera Devi and Mr. Rajendra Singh. The students who made it to the final five in this category included Divyanshi Chaudhary, Arunima Gupta, Suryakant, Nishant Chaudhary, and from the second group, Pratik Chaudhary, Balmukund, Vikram Singh Rajput, and Ayaan Khan. This year, the Hybrid Ramanujan Award was presented to Varsha, Rishabh, and other learners by the chief guests of Prasphuran, Dr. Ashok Tiwari and Mr. Himanshu Goyal .

Among the series of awards given at the Annual Festival Prasphuran, the ‘Hybrid Homi J. Bhabha Award’ is a highly prestigious honor aimed at promoting scientific thinking and fostering interest in science, as well as encouraging such talents. This award has been given annually by the school. This year, the final five nominees for this award were Prakhar Bhardwaj, Anant Kumar, Sugamya Chaudhary, Bhavishya Bhardwaj, and Prince Kumar. Finally, from Grade 8, Prince Kumar was selected as this year's Hybrid Homi J. Bhabha Award winner. The school regretted that this prestigious award of the Hybrid School, which was to be presented by the chief guests of the program and the school's own alumnus (former student) Aniruddh Gupta, who is currently a research scholar and scientist at the *Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Mumbai*, could not be presented by him.

Despite two attempts to arrange tickets, Aniruddh could not attend the event this year due to some unavoidable circumstances. However, we are hopeful that next year, he will be able to present this award to a deserving student. This year, the Hybrid Homi J. Bhabha Award was presented to Prince Kumar and other learners by the distinguished guests, Mr. Prempal Sharma, Mr. Amit Sen, and Mr. Buddhsen Singh.

Annual Confluence of Literature, Art, Science, and Education - Prasfuran The remarkable scene of dedication to literature and education that emerged during the book launch at *Prasfuran-2024* is an inspiration to guide society towards a new direction. Recently, at the annual event of Hybrid Public School, 'Prasfuran-2024,' the first story collection 'Dukh Ke Rang' by young author Ankit Aseer and the English version of Prempal Sharma's book 'Pleasure of Reading' by author Amit Sen were launched by Dr. Ashok Tiwari from Janam Delhi, story writer and editor of 'Hamrang' Mr. Hanif Madaar, Ms. Anita Chaudhary, filmmaker Mr. M. Gani, Mr. Ankit Aseer, Mr. Himanshu Goyal, Mr. Buddhasen Singh, Mr. Manish Roy, Mr. Vanshaj Roy, Mrs. Shweta Goswami, Mr. Kamlesh Atwal, Mr. Naseeruddin from AMU, Aligarh, Mr. Amit Sen, and Mr. Prempal Sharma. The launch ceremony took place just before the Munshi Premchand Award was presented. This event was not just a literary celebration; it also served as a symbol of inspiration for children, much like how mathematician Ramanujan, scientist Homi J. Bhabha, actor and performing artist Balraj Sahni, artist Picasso, and the great storyteller Munshi Premchand have been role models in their respective fields. These prestigious awards are given annually to children who excel in literature, science, and the arts. Despite limited resources, the efforts of the Hybrid family and platform have been showing children the way for over two decades, especially those from ordinary households. Today, the students who have emerged from here are becoming doctors, engineers, writers, artists, and filmmakers, building their unique identities as responsible citizens. What sets the 'school' apart is that people at the top of literature, art, science, and cinema frequently visit, enriching the children's experiences and their learning process. Don't miss the chance to be a part of the next 'Prasfuran'. We invite you wholeheartedly. Next time you plan a trip to Mathura, be sure to set aside some time for the friends at Hybrid Public School.
